It works and works well.
By Michael A White
Bought it for Christmas and it performs quite well. Current setup has it about 25-30 feet from wireless router with 1 wall and in a tv cabinet.

1 quarter the signal strength of Microsoft brand adapter
By Stephen Rowland
I bought one of these for a second XBox because it was around $10.00 less than the Microsoft brand adapter. I already own a genuine Microsoft wireless adapter (the white one, with one antenna) I did a comparison on the same XBox in the same environment, where the Xbox was pulling 3-4 bars signal strength, this adapter pulled only 1 bar with few drops, but they occasionally did happen. The change was instant upon swapping adapters and I did it several times at different times of day, the tests always yielded the same results. It works, yes, just not very well. As far as wireless adapters go you can get this one and have barely enough signal to get by or send $10 more and have a solid signal that won't drop out and is not consistently weak.
